
In 1985, Audi changed to a sleeker body style incorporating integrated bumpers, a sloping front grill, and new marker lights and side molding. Also, the dash instruments gained a new look, using red lettering/lighting, along with a new 120mph speedometer. The dashboard itself took on a rounder look, the steering wheel horn cover visually meshed with the steering wheel more smoothly, and the side door pockets became full-length.
